The Bird’s Nest is a brand-new event space. The best restaurant in Estes Park, Bird & Jim, is spreading its wings, making a unique space, and catering private events with high-quality food. The second floor of the Bird’s Nest is used only for private events and catering inside and outside the building. We made a warm, beautiful event room on the second floor with great views. The Bird’s Nest is the perfect place for an event. It is close to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and has a rustic-modern look framed by the beautiful mountains. Bird’s Nest does in-house and off-site catering, providing your special event with high-quality Colorado food made with local ingredients and exclusive wine and bar choices.
We can talk about bar alternatives if that’s okay with you, depending on the rules of the event space. Some venues have their bartending staff and won’t allow outside alcohol. You can choose between a fully hosted bar, a partially hosted bar, or a cash bar if you’re allowed to serve alcohol. A wide selection of alcoholic beverages, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages are on hand. During the planning process, you and your Event Manager will hammer out the details, such as pricing sheets, alternatives, and special requests. A wine package tailored to your and your guests’ preferences can be designed by our Sommelier, who can also attend the event and offer advice.
The Buffett Scale
In this setting, each of your guests will receive a special meal curated by you from among our offerings. Your guests will be able to select from a variety of selections for each dish on the menus. Our Executive Chef has prepared various delicious options, and you and your Event Manager will go through them during the planning step.
Pick something that speaks to your sense of style and the event. We offer pre-made buffet options and the freedom to create your unique gastronomic journey for your wedding or another special occasion. Appetizers, stations, platters, salads, main courses, desserts, chef’s tables, packages, and a la carte items are available. This a reminder that the buffet is not all you can eat.
A Few Notes From Outer Space
Seating for up to eighty to ninety people can be found in our event area, located on the second floor, and can be reached via elevator. If more space is required, we can explore renting out the entire Bird’s Nest, both feet, or arranging catering at a different, larger venue of your choosing. Wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, corporate functions, and family reunions are just some of the events we cater. Any gathering with more than 20 guests must be held at the Bird’s Nest, not Bird & Jim’s. There is a minimum of food for parties with fewer than 30 guests.
We are happy to provide you with a discount of $10 per person if you choose to have your rehearsal dinner or pre-event supper at The Bird’s Nest. This offer is valid only if we are contracted to provide catering for your off-site event.
